Nice to meet you

I’m Lidor Levy — musician, guitarist and guitar teacher

Lidor Levy sitting and playing a Taylor acoustic guitar in the studio

I’ve been playing guitar for 30 years and teaching, in high demand, for over 20 — many hundreds of students, across every age, level and background.

An in-demand guitarist with Rita, Alon Oleartchik, Harel Skaat, Gali Atari, Riki Gal, Ohad Hitman, Habima National Theatre and the Cameri Theatre.

Graduated with honors in Performance from Berklee College of Music, and from Rimon School of Music. Senior teacher in middle and high schools for the Israeli Ministry of Education.

Everything I know about the guitar, from all the years and all the stages, is now here for you — in your room, with your guitar. A unique experience that will change the way you play.

From my teacher at Berklee

A word from the Guitar Department

Berklee College of Music seal

“Lidor Levy was a guitar student of mine at Berklee from 2002–2003. He is a talented and resourceful musician with a mature attitude toward study. I find him to be among the most motivated musicians I have worked with and he is a very good jazz and pop player he knows how to work hard and get results.

He has made a very solid commitment to working on his playing and I am sure that he will improve the experience of any other student of his as well as fellow musicians working alongside him. He is very personable and patient — two essential qualities of a fine teacher and performer.”

What people say

Students and fellow musicians

An amazing, thorough teacher, a phenomenal guitarist (he’s played on every production worth naming), and a genuinely generous person. Anyone who studies with him comes out ahead!

Asaf Dagan

A gifted musician through and through — precise and first-rate. If there’s one person in Israel worth learning advanced guitar from, with real depth and understanding of the theory, it’s Lidor Levy.

Avi Bashari

Great guitar teacher. A lot of knowledge, and most of all knows how to teach it. In every session you can feel his passion to teach and give the student the best. For me Lidor is the top guitar teacher, in knowledge and in teaching method. As a person, Lidor is one of a kind.

S.K.

Among the most motivated musicians I have worked with — a very good jazz and pop player who knows how to work hard and get results. Very personable and patient.
